Here are the errors that I get: .EmailException: Sending the email to the followingĪt .ndMimeMessage(Email.java:1410)Īt .nd(Email.java:1437)Īt 0(Native Method)Īt (NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39)Īt (DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25)Īt .invoke(Method.NULLĪt RJavaTools.invokeMethod(RJavaTools.java:386)Ĭaused by: : 535-5.7.8 Username andĪt .SMTPTransport$thenticate(SMTPTransport.java:892)Īt .thenticate(SMTPTransport.java:814)Īt .SMTPTransport.protocolConnect(SMTPTransport.java:728)Īt (Service.java:386)Īt (Service.java:245)Īt (Service.java:194)Īt 0(Transport.java:253)Īt (Transport.java:124)Īt .ndMimeMessage(Email.java:1400)Įrror: EmailException (Java): Sending the email to the following server failed : :465 Port = 465, user.name = "my.password", ssl = TRUE), Except for iCloud account youll see two entries for each account 1) receiving and 2 SMTP for sending. Here is my code: send.mail(from = "Subject of the email", I tried sendmailR that does not support authentication but couldn't get that to work and have spent time trying to get the mailR send.mail to work. ![]() ![]() ![]() I am having problems getting an R mail script to send mail. I have been looking for a way to setup a command line mail (or mailx) working on OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) and I found a good blog posting by Anuj Gakhar for OSX Lion.
