There seems to be no real limitations to the program however, some of the filters people have created are mind blowing. I also found it very difficult to find what filters I actually wanted, and downloaded some of them one by one with the aforementioned library function just so that I'd know where to locate the things I wanted to use. If you go for it, do not buy the "library" extra software, I got burned on that its internal library search is much better. Not to sound like I'm shilling the product here or anything I just think it's very cool. I have FilterForge! I have to admit, I haven't actually used it a whole bunch, but so far, I've been very impressed with its capabilities and range of filters.
